Presenting Locational Information
Any latitude-longitude data must be in decimal degrees, not in degree, minute, second.
5° 15' 30"= 5.255 (be careful to put " . "and not " , ")
The references to the hemisphere must be with a negative sign, not with N or S references or E, W. Only numbers are allowed in these columns
5° S = -5
Units
The units of the numeric data must be in the header of the column, not in the column itself and no blank cells are allowed in the header of the columns.
Format
Try to have only one row containing headers information, and at the top of the spreadsheet only. Delete all empty rows.
It is useful to have a unique ID number for each row.
Data
Only put numeric data in the numeric columns.
