Bahati (James) Barongo 1967 - 2004 Bahati served as an Administrative Officer for the Lake Tanganyika Biodiversity Project and for the subsequent Lake Tanganyika Management Planning Project. He subsequently took an Administrative Adviser post with the International Rescue Committee (IRC), based first in Kabul, Afghanistan and subsequently in Freetown, Sierra Leone.
