Project Overview
The Living Water Exchange is sharing information and accelerating the
replication of the most appropriate nutrient reduction practices to
improve the environmental health of water resources in Central and
Eastern Europe.
The GEF International Waters program has been promoting solutions to address increased nutrient releases and other “non-point source” runoff issues in CEE for more than fifteen years. There is a wealth of experience in nutrient reduction best practices and lessons learned in the region that needs to be replicated within the region and worldwide. However, it has not been collected, analyzed, summarized or replicated in a systematic way.
