This database is an electronic, searchable version of the inventory of nutrient reduction projects and practices collected and analyzed by the Living Water Exchange from Global Environment Facility investments in Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
Searches will offer perspective on practices implemented in the context of GEF projects and provide possible pathways to gather more information. The database should be viewed with this in mind and for replication potential of the practices in the region and worldwide.
It may be helpful to examine the attached best environmental practice summary document prior to beginning your search. The summary will help understand general descriptions and approaches to implementing practices and most importantly systems of practices to promote effective nutrient reduction strategies.
