- All stakeholders, agricultural institutions, slaughterhouses and associations who wish to participate in DREPR Project, can now send their letters of interest or applications to DREPR Project Implementation Unit (DREPR/PIU) in Belgrade. Detailed information can be received by phone +381 11 363 16 75, PIU (Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management). Project Implementation Unit (PIU)

The PIU is composed of various professionals (agricultural engineers, environment specialist, PR, procurement and finance consultants, etc.). Their main task is to implement the project in accordance, and in cooperation with task team leader, local and international experts and consultants specialized in this field.

This Unit is working in coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of the Republic of Serbia , who is in charge of DREPR project. The Unit is based in Belgrade .

About Us

DREPR Project is financed under the GEF-WB Investment Fund for Nutrient Reduction in the Black Sea/Danube Basin. The preparation of the Project was executed by the Ministry of Science and Environmental Protection – Directorate for Environmental Protection and the implementing agency is the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of the Republic of Serbia .

This Social Assessment (SA) was conducted in September 2004 in order to identify and analyse the potential social and environmental issues and impacts of the Danube River Enterprise Pollution Project (DREPR) on key stakeholder groups and to guide the design of the Project so as to maximize its social benefits.
