Database contains taxon names from 4 groups: benthos, phytoplankton, zooplankton, fishes. Taxon names are being checked and updated permanently. Where possible, APHIA ID from World Registry of Marine Species and TSN from Integrated Taxonomic Information System are assigned to taxons.
