Presentations on Larval Fish IdentificationRegional Larval Fish Experts, including Dr. Yoshinobu Konishi and Professor Nygiel Armada delivered a series of presentations during the UNEP/GEF South China Sea Project – SEAFDEC Regional Training Workshop on Larval Fish Identification and Fish Early Life History Science. This workshop was convened at the SEAFDEC Training Department from 16th-31st May 2007. Learners were introduced to a range of topics including: Fish Habitat and Critical Habitat Linkages; Fish Morphology and the Identification of Larval Fish; Larval and Juvenile Fish Survey Design and Methods; Larval and Juvenile Fish Sampling Equipment; Data Management, Analysis, and Presentation (Mapping) Techniques; and Staining and Illustration of Fish Larvae.
