Aiming for zero emissions

The use of renewable energy and the promotion of energy efficiency are the best methods of tackling the global problem of climate change. Financial help from the Italian Ministry for the Environment, Land and Sea and grants from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA Financial Mechanism, as well as support from several leading building technology companies, have made it possible for the REC to open a new, state-of-the-art training, demonstration and conference centre that aims for zero emissions. The main features of the building are summarised in this brochure.
