Children make up a significant part of our society and are vital to the future of the Americas. Very often they are abused, exploited, or are otherwise denied basic rights as a result of their lack of resources and ability to be completely independent. The OAS is committed to protect the rights of children and adolescents through various programs implemented across the region designed to improve education, health services and general quality of life.
