LCBC GEF Project Launches a New Website
The Lake Chad Basin GEF Project has launched a new website based on the GEF International Waters Website Toolkit developed with the assistance of GEF IW:LEARN project.
In contrast to the previous website which was slow and difficult to maintain, the new website has a common feature set and a consistent user-interface with other GEF IW project websites. Contents available from the website includes news, project's contacts database, Publications, Maps/GIS and an events calendar. The LCBC GEF Project has decided to adopt the toolkit as the primary resource for content management within the project.
The GEF IW Website tookit was developed to ensure consistent user interface among project websites, easy management of content and global search capabilty across project websites and other specialised databases of UNEP.
