Description:
EduVentures was initiated in 2003 and and is run from within the National Museum of Namibia. The programme is centered around a two-week long exploratory expedition to remote areas during which a group of learners, accompanied by scientists and teachers, participate in collecting data concerning Namibia's natural and social history. These include mainly biodiversity and archaeological data. Various post-expedition activities are organized, which concentrates on building mental, social and physical skills, while ex-participants have access to museum support for school and science projects.
