Description:
1. To minimize teenage pregnancies and early parenthood by raising awareness campaigns and workshops on the topic and by advocating abstinence for the unmarried. 2. To engage in research, intellectual, academic and community based activities that are geared towards improving the socio- economic and spiritual and moralistic position of Walvis Bay. 3. To fight the spread of HIV/AIDS infections and other sexually transmitted diseases among the youth through awareness campaigns and counselling. 4. To prepare the youth for leadership roles in the community and Namibia as a whole through coaching workshops on personal development. 5. To impart life skills in the youth through coaching workshop. 6. To campaign against the abuse of alcohol and drug through awareness campaigns. 7. To promote and motivate the youth to successfully complete their school. 8. Assist in providing career guidance and financial assistance information to needy and talented students in order to assist them further their studies. 9. To promote harmony and cooperation among different cultural groups. 10. To contribute to the positive upliftment of Namibia’s socio-economic and cultural life. 11. To join hands with other youth organisations world-wide and locally that have similar objectives as ours and that strive to contribute genuinely to the cause of moral regeneration and community development and growth. 12. To offer crush courses on leadership, career development and pre academic preparatory training and personal development.

The Coastal Youth Club is a community organisation based in Kuisebmond, Walvis Bay. The Club‘s inceptive activities shall target the Walvis Bay of its activities shall be made countrywide should funds permit. The Programme of the Club shall target Youths between the ages of 10 – 35 years. The Coastal Youth Club is a community based organisation committed to the combating of early parenthood, fight the spread of HIV/AIDS infections and other sexually transmitted diseases among the youth, prepare the youth for leadership roles in the community, impart life skills in the youth, encourage the youth to further their education and campaign against the use and abuse of alcohol and drug abuse among the youth and care for the coastal surrounding areas.
