1st MedPartnership Coordination Group Meeting, Athens, Greece, 16-18 September 2009

The 1st MedPartnership Coordination Group Meeting for the "Strategic Partnership for the Mediterranean Sea Large Marine Ecosystem" was held at Athens, Greece, from the 16 to 18 September 2009.

The main issues discussed were the following:

• The Regional Project and its current status of its implementation;
• Complementary new programmes, projects and issues in the region;
• The Investment Fund projects , their status of implementation, projects’ pipeline, new ideas and opportunities for projects;
• The linkages between the Regional Project and the Investment Fund;
• The Information and Communication Strategy;
• The Replication Strategy.
